Colonial Children’s Academy

Colonial Children's Academy (CCA) is a preschool/childcare center for children between 2.9 and 5 years of age. It is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM through 4:00 PM. CCA follows the Minuteman High School school-year calendar.

At CCA Preschool, we believe that children learn best through play, exploration, and meaningful relationships. Our nurturing and engaging environment encourages curiosity, creativity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. Through hands-on experiences, child-centered activities, and developmentally appropriate practices, we support the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth of every child.

Our dedicated educators foster a sense of belonging where children feel safe, valued, and confident to explore the world around them. We believe in partnering with families to create a strong foundation for each child's success both in school and beyond.

As part of our unique learning community, we are fortunate to welcome high school interns and co-op students who work alongside our teaching staff. These meaningful connections create opportunities for mentorship, leadership, and collaboration, allowing everyone—preschoolers, students, and educators alike—to learn from one another and grow together.

Being located within the Minuteman High School campus provides our students with exciting and unique learning opportunities. Throughout the year, children may visit programs such as the auto shop, animal science department, restaurant, and other career and technical education areas. These experiences help expand children's understanding of the world around them while fostering curiosity, exploration, and a love of learning.

CCA Preschool follows the Minuteman High School school calendar, including holidays, vacations, and weather-related closures, helping to provide consistency for families within our community.
