Allison, Barry, M.Ed

Allison earned a B.S. in Communications with a concentration in Graphic Design from Fitchburg State University in 2002. She began her career in the offset printing industry as a graphic designer, building custom calendars and converting logos for embossing, before advancing to a senior graphic designer role specializing in graphic design, web design, prepress, and variable data processing.

After 13 years in the industry, Allison discovered that her greatest passion was helping other designers create work that was both visually compelling and technically sound. She brought that expertise to Minuteman in 2015, where she teaches Design & Visual Communications. In 2020, she was honored with the Carl J. Schafer Award by NOCTI, recognizing her excellence in career and technical education.
