Application Process

Students interested in applying to Minuteman for fall admission to the 9th, 10th 11th or 12th grade must submit a completed application to the Minuteman Admissions Office or your local Guidance Counselor.

It is the responsibility of the student applicant, his or her parent or guardian and the local school Guidance Counselor to complete their portion of the application form, including signatures. The Admissions Committee may require an applicant's parent or guardian to verify legal residency within the Minuteman Regional School District.

Criteria

  1. Academic grades, last & current year
  2. Attendance records, last & current year
  3. Discipline/conduct record
  4. Recommendation from sending school
  5. Interview

Eligibility

Any 8th, 9th, 10th or 11th grade student who is a resident of the Minuteman Regional Vocational Technical School District (Acton, Arlington, Belmont, Bolton, Boxborough, Carlisle, Concord, Dover, Lancaster, Lexington, Lincoln, Needham, Stow, Sudbury, Wayland, and Weston) who expects to be promoted into the grade they seek to enter by their local district is eligible to apply for fall admission or admission during the school year subject to availability of openings to Minuteman Career & Technical High School.

Out of District Eligibility

Students who are not residents of the Minuteman School District are eligible to apply for Fall admission or admission during the school year subject to the availability of openings to Minuteman provided they expect to be promoted into the grade they seek to enter by their local district and comply with established Massachusetts Department of Education Chapter 74 non-resident admissions policies, including seeking the approval of the local school superintendent.

All students will be evaluated using the criteria contained in the Minuteman High School Admissions Policy.
