There are three opportunities for students to earn credits towards a college degree while a student at Minuteman. They include Articulation Agreements, Dual Enrollment and Advanced Placement courses.
Because of our Career and Technical Education, Minuteman students can take their transcripts to any number of colleges and receive college credit for their high school classes. A list of articulation agreements can be found on the following link:
Students have the opportunity to earn high school and college credits simultaneously. In order to be able to access these classes, students should speak with their guidance counselor about classes and the process. In the upcoming school year, Minuteman will be a dual enrollment site, meaning students taking classes at Minuteman can earn credit for Middlesex Community College. More information can be found here:
Advanced Placement (AP)
Students have the opportunity to take AP classes which prepare them for the AP exams in May. Students who score 3-5 may receive credit from the college they decide to attend. AP credits can be earned in academic and vocational areas.
The above options are available to Minuteman students who meet the prerequisite requirements.
